Wanderers Invited to BWFC Grand Skills Final!

Over the past year, the U.K.’s Bolton Wanderers Football Club (BWFC) International Soccer School has held camps in various countries around the world – Australia, Egypt, India, Spain, Norway, as well as in the U.S. and Canada – most recently right here at home in Bolton. Players not only benefited from the expertise of BWFC technical staff, but also from their experience and insight into what it takes to become a professional.

The “best of the best” camp participants from around the globe have been invited to England to take part in BWFC International Soccer School’s “Grand Skills Final 2010” - a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in a series of soccer related skills challenges designed to identify potential future stars.  The Bolton Wanderers Soccer Club (BWSC) is pleased to announce that during camps held in July at Jack Garratt Soccer Park, visiting BWFC academy staff coaches along with academy director, David Bailey identified three BWSC representative team players as “most outstanding” in their camp class - Luca Aureli, Sheldon Coates, and Nicholas Scarafile.

Each has been extended an invitation to participate in BWFC International Soccer School’s “Grand Skills Final 2010” in late October.  “Who knows?  This could be the very first step on the road to making it with the big club – Bolton Wanderers F.C. and playing in the most exciting league in the world – the English premiership”, commented academy director Bailey.  “Congratulations gentlemen!”

“Grand Skills Final” participants receive full board accommodation at the De Vere Whites four star hotel located within Reebok Stadium, home of the Bolton Wanderers Football Club – including a tour of the facility; tickets to a Premier League match between Bolton and Liverpool; plus Academy style coaching from UEFA qualified coaches.  Competition grand prize is a full weeks’ experience with BWFC’s International Soccer School on the “Year Long Football Studies Program” as well as an autographed 2010/11 Wanderers’ home jersey!

Note also that Luca Aureli, Sheldon Coates, and Nicholas Scarafile are members of the Bolton Wanderers Soccer Club’s South Region Soccer League Under 14 Elite Division League Cup Championship Team which will fully experience BWFC training methods at BWFC’s International Soccer School during March break 2011!   This is only the beginning of what BWSC expects will be an annual trip from Bolton, Canada to Bolton, England by top BWSC representative players.
